Sergey Parajanov’s “Ashough Gharib” film will be shown in Istanbul today. During the event Istanbul’s Marmara University researcher Onur Aytach will do a presentation, the “Bianet” website reports. The publication notes that the film will be shown at the hall of Armenian Culture and Solidarity Association.

The film was shot by “Georgian Film” company in Baku and Sheki. “Ashough Gharib” was released in 1988. It is dedicated to the memory of Andrei Tarkovsky.
