200-year-old Armenian rock-cut church is being destroyed by Kurdish embezzlers


The 200-year-old rock-cut church, which is in Bahcesaray region of Van province in Turkey is being destroyed by Kurdish embezzlers as the Turkish “Evrensel” newspaper informs. Drill holes made by Kurdish Villagers, who seek for “Armenians legendary golds”, are observed in different parts of the ‘’White church”. According to the source, shepherds of the neighboring villages in rainy and snowy days use the church as a stud. In addition, on the inside and outside walls of the church are carved indecent writings.
